Medium- 13 languages (English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu) Candidates must choose the medium of the question paper at the time of filling up the application form.

• Duration - 2 hours 30 minutes (45 minutes for language and legal studies, and 60 minutes for general)
• Number of Sections - 3 (Language [1A and 1B], Legal Studies, General Test)
• Total Number of questions – 160
• Marking scheme – 5 marks per question
• Negative marking – 1 per wrong answer
