AILET is a national-level entrance test conducted by the NLUD for admission to the university's undergraduate and graduate law programs.

Eligibility Criteria
The AILET minimum eligibility criteria in general is:
- Candidates for the B.A.LL. B (Hons.) course need to have the 10+2 exam with at least 50% of their total points.
- Candidates who are in their class 12 are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category must have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in their class 12.
Age Limit: There is no upper age bar to take the AILET exam.
